A collaborative effort, JAZZ-IZ-CHRIST has 13 tracks that weave in and out of the jazz genre, infusing elements of traditional jazz, electronic music and other non-traditional jazz elements.
Besides Serj, this album features Tigran Hamasyan, a notoriously talented pianist signed to Verve Record (www.tigranhamasyan.com), trumpet player Tom Duprey (From the Prometheus Bound band), flute player Valery Tolstov, violinist and actor David Alpay, and a host of other musical guests.
The album is mainly instrumental, but does have 3 tracks with Serj singing vocals.
